 Pieter Stalenhoef is a seasoned investment analyst and CFA charterholder with a track record of success in global equity markets. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Vermont and an M.S. in Investment Management from Boston University—an academic foundation that has supported his long and distinguished career in finance.

Pieter began his professional journey at Provident Bank in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he gained frontline experience in financial services. He later held leadership roles at Fidelity Investments in Boston, further sharpening his investment acumen.

Driven by a passion for global markets, Pieter joined Evergreen Investments as an equity analyst specializing in Latin American and Russian markets. His keen insights and strategic stock selections helped generate a remarkable 21% net excess return for a fund that consistently ranked in the top decile of its peer group.

Following the acquisition of Evergreen Investments by Wells Fargo in 2010, Pieter transitioned to the role of equity analyst on the Wells Fargo Global Opportunities Fund. He now focuses on evaluating small- and mid-cap companies worldwide, with particular expertise in the consumer, healthcare, and media sectors. His role involves conducting in-depth stock analysis, pitching investment ideas, and presenting quarterly earnings summaries to the Wells Fargo International Team.

Beyond his professional responsibilities, Pieter Stalenhoef  is committed to financial education and advocacy. He is an active member of the CFA Society Boston’s Financial Literacy Initiative, which partners with organizations such as the Boston Private Industry Council, Invest in Girls, and Junior Achievement to empower the public with essential financial knowledge.
