Pieter Stalenhoef was previously the consumer, media, and healthcare analyst for the Wells Fargo Global Opportunities Fund, a regularly top-ranked fund with a four-star Morningstar rating, before joining Wells Capital Management as an equities analyst. He used his Boston University education in financial management to examine small and mid-cap international stocks. He is currently employed with Santander Investment Services in Greater Boston, Massachusetts, as a Financial Advisor.

Pieter is a budding novelist when he's not working. For almost eighteen years, he has been a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society. He also exhorts young people to join the Boston chapter of the CFA Society and take benefit of its many advantages. For example, society members can participate in over 60 events and programs and get access to exclusive features that are only available to those who have joined the Career Center. Additionally, Pieter has been on Barron's Magazine for his comments with MBT, a Russian telecom company, and Femsa, a chain of convenience stores in Mexico.

Regarding his educational history, Pieter Stalenhoef holds a master's degree in investment management from Boston University and a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Vermont.

According to Pieter, members of the Boston-based CFA Society have unique access to a variety of continuing education activities that cover a broad range of topics. Typically, prominent industry leaders participate in these sessions to provide their knowledge and perspectives on particular career options.
